Welcome to Mission Based. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Mission Based mobile application ("App"), operated by Bering Connect ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete that information.
To use the App, you must create an account using a valid email address and a password that meets our security requirements (minimum 8 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, and a number).

The App is designed for personal, non-commercial use.
You retain full ownership of all content you create within the App, including but not limited to goals, events, notes, contacts, mission statements, and settings ("Your Content"). We do not claim any intellectual property rights over Your Content.
By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the App's functionality to you. We will not sell, share, or use Your Content for any other purpose.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of Your Content. You agree not to store content that is illegal, defamatory, threatening, or that infringes on the rights of others.
When using the App, you agree not to:
The App, including its design, code, graphics, logos, interface, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by Bering Connect and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding, trademarks, or other proprietary materials without our prior written consent.
We strive to keep the App available and functioning reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to:
We are not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by temporary service interruptions.
Your Content is stored on secure third-party servers (Supabase) with encryption and access controls. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is 100% secure.
You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings screen. Upon deletion, all of Your Content will be permanently removed from our servers. This action cannot be undone.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe that you have:

The App is currently offered free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features, subscriptions, or pricing changes in the future. If we do, we will provide reasonable advance notice. Any paid features will be clearly identified before purchase, and existing free functionality will not be retroactively restricted without notice.

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bering Connect and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or in connection with:
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the App, our practices, or applicable law. When we make changes:

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bering Connect regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
